How do I turn a photo into a cross stitch pattern?
Upload a photo to KK Stitches, drag the corners around the part you want, choose the width in inches and your fabric count, and the site builds a stitch-by-stitch chart with DMC thread colors.
What fabric counts does it support?
Any count from 6 to 40. Common Aida counts are 11, 14, 16 and 18, and every design shows its finished size in inches for 10, 14, 16 and 18 count.
What is in the PDF?
A color preview of the finished piece, a black and white symbol chart, and a thread key with the DMC number, name and stitch count for each color. Large charts are split across pages.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The photo is turned into a pattern inside your browser, and saved patterns stay in this browser on this device.
